It’s hard to be prepared for a crisis. It’s even harder to be prepared for an unprecedented pandemic. But as an elder law attorney, I am forever stressing to my clients and potential clients that being prepared is really the best thing we can do.
When a crisis hits, there are two kinds of people: those who panic and those who jump into action. One thing is true for both of these people, neither is thinking at their clearest. So why do we wait until the crisis strikes to make decisions? When you are as prepared as possible and are forward-thinking, you are able to respond more calmly and appropriately when thrown into an unknown.
We've developed our Purposefully Prepared series to educate you on what you can do both personally and professionally to ensure you are purposefully prepared for the next crisis or chapter.
